Ron Mueck - artist extraordinaire!

So I was perusing the interwebs the other day for a school summative project and I came upon this picture of two people spooning :
But, well now, here's the kicker:

Thaaaat's right - it's a model. Ridiculous? I think yes times 2047234897! Check these out:

This one's just creepy (wouldn't it be scary to walk through his exhibits alone?)

Then there's this one, which I think is pretty neat...

And this one (the old ladies are so awesome in this - and the guy looks like my teacher Mr. Turner.)

And more!

And the artist behind the madness - Ron Mueck, a hyperrealist sculptor in Great Britain who started as a model maker and puppeteer for children's television and film, and later became famous with his work Dead Dad, a sculpture of the corpse of Ron Mueck's father, brought down to two-thirds the actual size, and the only work of Mueck's using his own hair. Mueck pays amazing attention to the details of the human body, but play around with the scale of his works, making them smaller or larger, to create a ridiculously perturbing effect.
